Paris Baguette

What amazing bakery this is! I visited 2 times in my 1 week stay in Chicago. First time the server was awesome! Everything was warmed well and given. Second time the server was not good, everything came cold. They have a great collection and location is great too! My favourite was almond croissant and bun filled with curried potatoes!

My wife and I were in town for a concert and decided we needed something sweet. We decided on Paris Baguette and were pretty happy with that decision. As she was getting ready for the show, I went down and when I walked in, I saw it was a serve yourself place. You get a tray with wax paper and some tongs and go to town choosing what you want out of their cases. I got a slew of pastries for us to eat, both for the evening snack and for the morning's breakfast. We got a strawberry and pastry cream filled croissant, a fruit and cream pastry, and a slice of chocolate and cream filled cake. They were all delicious! The croissant and pastry had the same pastry cream and it was tasty! The cake was light with thinly sliced strawberries and Chantilly cream in between each layer. Overall, if we were to be in the area, we would definitely be back for desserts!

This is decent French patisserie and bakery. In our first visit we tried 4 items from the bakery section and we enjoyed them. If I could, I would rate this place 4.5✨️

First time going to this bakery cafe and I am in love! There were so many delicious looking baked goods! I wish I can eat all of them! They have asian inspired and classic baked goodies! They also have savoury items. Their black tea was so good! The atmosphere and decor of the bakery is bright and inviting! Love ❤️ I would have given it a 5 star review but the cash register person added an extra baked good charge on my bill. Good thing I caught the display and noticed the extra charge. Be sure to get a receipt and check your bill. I know a lot of people don’t want to get the receipt but this is the 2nd time in Chicago that I was charged extra. Anyways, other than that, it was a great place to enjoy a tea and baked goods!

The pastries are absolutely amazing here! The croissants, the Danish pastries, the cheese twist and so much more. The price is a bit high as you will pay about $4 per pastry and if you get 2 breads and coffee that's about $13 with taxes but the flavors are so well balanced. Definitely not too sweet which is the right way of doing desserts. Give this place a try and you will love it.
